Superintendents, educators, and community leaders are invited to the Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education at Rockland Community College to tour its newly renovated home. The center’s goal is to teach about the genocides of the past and present in an effort to foster moral courage, empathy, and resilience. Open houses are offered twice on three consecutive Tuesdays — August 17, 24, and 31 — from 10 to 11 a.m., and again between 1 and 2 p.m. those days. Visitors will see an overview of the museum and its programs and student-focused lessons.
Reservations are requested by August 15; email firstname.lastname@example.org.
