To honor Black History Month, Rockland’s Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education and the Haverstraw African American Connection presents “Better Together — The Bond, the Break, the Bridge,” exploring the relationship between the African American and Jewish people. It is set for Tuesday, February 23, at 12:30 p.m. Participants include HAAC’s president and founder, Virginia Norfleet; HMCTE’s co-president, Paul Galan; and HMCTE trustee Carol King-Berkman. Rockland County’s special Project coordinator, Jenna Nazario, and HMCTE archivist Isabella Costa will moderate the panel.
