On February 21, Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley in Woodcliff Lake celebrated Purim with a drive-through carnival style event on the “Big Hill.” The cars, bursting with adults and children of all ages, snaked up the hill to the shul and around the synagogue building, as the visitors were entertained by jugglers and a stilt walker. The professional staff, all dressed in costumes, greeted the attendees with games and activities for the holiday, all while keeping socially distanced.
