Last week, the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey hosted its annual Play 4 Federation, drawing people together for a fun-filled day of golf, pickleball, tennis, mahjongg, and canasta. Participants heard about the federation’s ongoing fight against antisemitism, as well as the urgent need to assist its sister city, Nahariya, which has been under attack and facing daily bomb threats from Hezbollah. The federation is raising funds to build 17 bomb shelters to protect the city’s residents.
Thanks to the sponsors and participants, federation leaders say, the day was a tremendous success, making a meaningful impact on the community and beyond.
