Penguin theater has new productions

Penguin Rep Theatre, the award-winning professional Equity theater in Stony Point, under the leadership of founding artistic director Joe Brancato and executive director Andrew M. Horn, announces its 40th anniversary season.

Penguin’s season features three premieres and two revivals. The season opens in May with “Trayf,” a new comedy by Lindsay Joelle and will include productions of “Fall River,” a new play by Frederick Stroppel, as well as revivals of Lee Blessing’s “Cobb” and Allan Knee’s “Syncopation,” and the return of Emmy Award-winner Robert Wuhl in his latest work, “Shistory Happens!” Penguin’s 108-seat theater is at 7 Crickettown Road.
