Members and friends of the JCC of Paramus/Congregation Beth Tikvah came out strong this year to support its annual Operation Isaiah program, a national food drive initiative typically held over the High Holy Day season. All donations benefitted the Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey’s food pantry, the Corner Market. More than 125 bags of grocery items and $1,400 in checks and gifts cards were collected and donated. The pantry has seen more than a 200 percent increase in food appointment requests, and JCCP/CBT’s generous help was much appreciated.

The Corner Market is open to Bergen, Passaic, and Hudson county residents and offers pre-bagged food and household items to people who could benefit from receiving them. To make an appointment for contactless private pickup, go to JFCSNNJ.org/market or call (201) 978-8492.
