On November 10, Livingston Township staff, led by Liliana Branquinhino, Donna Salvati of Arbor Terrace of Roseland, and Randi Brokman of Homewatch CareGivers, welcomed about 50 cars carrying senior adults to the Livingston Senior Center parking lot. Abiding by safety rules, maintaining social distance, and wearing masks, the seniors enjoyed an afternoon of musical entertainment from Cindy and Mark Slotnick of the Perfect Duo +1, Frank Giordano. Homewatch CareGivers and Arbor Terrace have co-sponsored Livingston senior programs before. Knowing that groups were not going to meet in person this winter, Randi and Donna worked with Liliana to explore a way to bring joy to the seniors before colder weather set in. Participants clapped, danced, and jived to music of the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s. The performance ended with a tribute to our veterans.
