Ongoing programs at Temple Emeth
Temple Emeth in Teaneck’s Torah study program is on Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m. all year long, both in person and on Zoom; it ends in time for Shabbat morning services at 10:30. It includes lively discussions as well as coffee, tea, bagels, and schmears.
Lunch and Learn with Rabbi Steven Sirbu is on Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m., in person and on Zoom. This year’s topic is “Tikkun Ha’am / Repairing Our People: Israel and the Crisis of Liberal Judaism,” by Rabbi Jeffrey K. Salkin. Every six weeks or so, the topic changes to current events. Participants bring lunch, and Emeth provides provide the learning and the coffee.
Emeth members lead “Stories from a Jewish Perspective,” both in person and on Zoom, on Tuesdays from 7:45 to 8:45 p.m. on April 22 and 29, and May 6, 13, and 20. Learn more by emailing adulteducation@emeth.org or by calling (201) 833-1322.
