OJC weekly summer meals initiative
The Orangetown Jewish Center in Orangeburg has a new fundraiser, the OJC Summer Meal Series. Every week, the shul will highlight and support a different kosher restaurant in the Rockland/Bergen County area that has agreed to offer OJC congregants a selection of summer family meal packages. A portion of the proceeds of every meal package will go directly to support OJC and its year-long programming.
The program kicked off last week with the restaurant Yalla Teaneck, coincidentally a Jewish Standard Reader’s Choice winner.
Orders must be placed by Tuesday and will be ready for curbside pick-up on Thursday afternoon in the shul parking lot, in front of the synagogue entrance. All tips will be contributed to the OJC as well. For more information, go to theOJC.org.
