Norpac hosts senator from West Virginia

Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) was the guest at an August 27 Norpac meeting in Englewood, hosted by Alise Reicin and Bob Boiarsky.

Mr. Manchin, who was a governor and state legislator before being elected to the Senate, discussed his decision to vote against the Iran deal in 2015, despite party pressure to do otherwise. He also was one of only two Democratic senators to vote in favor of Trump nominee David Friedman to become the U.S. ambassador to Israel. He will be running for re-election in 2018.
