No hate in Wyckoff - The Jewish Standard

When the New Gourmet Garden, a Chinese restaurant in Wyckoff, was vandalized — graffiti on the sidewalk in front included “Go home to China” — residents and officials immediately condemned the hateful act. Rabbi Chanoch Kaplan of the Chabad Jewish Center of NW Bergen County and Melissa Rubenstein, a Chabad congregant and Wyckoff’s first elected Jewish township committee member, visited the restaurant to offer support. Along with a flower arrangement, they brought a check for the owners. Rabbi Kaplan told the owners that the lone incident of hate did not represent the warm community of Wyckoff.
