No birthday cake for little Adolf Hitler
A family from Hunterdon County, N.J., is claiming discrimination because a ShopRite bakery would not write a birthday message on their 3-year-old’s birthday cake. What was the message they wanted? Why, only to wish happy birthday to their son, Adolf Hitler Campbell.

“There’s a new president and he says it’s time for a change; well, then it’s time for a change,” the 35-year-old continued. “They need to accept a name. A name’s a name. The kid isn’t going to grow up and do what (Hitler) did.”
I’m sure President-elect Obama is thrilled that his presidency is being used to defend the glorification of one of history’s worst despots.
A Lehigh Valley paper has received many comments on the story, some con, some pro.
The same paper has written an in-depth look at the family’s lives.

UPDATE: The Big Lipowsky has learned that while ShopRite stuck to its guns, a Pennsylvania Wal-Mart store agreed to make the “Happy Birthday Adolf Hitler” cake.
