NHC annual awards ceremony, journal go virtual

This year, the Nanuet Hebrew Center in New City will present its annual awards ceremony and reception online on Sunday, May 31. The journal is dedicated in memory of Leo Karpfen.

Honorees include all of the NHC’s post b’nai mitzvah haftorah readers. Gary Siepser, the chief executive officer of the Jewish Federation and Foundation of Rockland, will receive this year’s Stanley Blumenthal community service award recipient.

This fundraiser is critical to the NHC, so participants are asked to pay tribute to the honorees by taking out ads in the online event journal and soliciting ads from the community. For more information, go to nanuethc.org.
