The Bergen County section of the National Council of Jewish Women welcomes the senior leadership of NCJW, Inc. — the organization’s national organization — to its next general meeting. The online meeting with national board president Dana Gershon and chief policy officer Jody Rabhan will be on Tuesday, May 25, at 12:30 p.m.
Ms. Gershon will discuss the task force on racial justice and equity initiated under her leadership that addresses rising anti-Semitism, racial unrest, and white supremacy. Ms. Rabhan will report on the actions the Biden-Harris administration and 117th Congress are taking to further NCJW’s mission. Beginning with the Biden-Harris transition team, NCJW has had a seat at the table advocating for its agenda to safeguard human rights.
“We are very much looking forward to learning more about our national organization’s initiatives in Washington, and especially to hearing about its work with the Biden-Harris team,” the section’s co-president, Bari-Lynne-Schwartz, said
