The JCC of Northern NJ offers “Cooking for Passover Mizrahi Style!” on Zoom, on Wednesday, March 17, at 7 p.m. Learn about the culture of Jews from Arab lands through the food that Yemenite-Israeli immigrant Revi Catriel, of Revi’s Mediterranean Kitchen, presents. She also will talk about how her childhood stories exemplify traditions from these Jewish communities that have existed in the Middle East and North Africa from biblical times to today.
Revi also will share her favorite childhood Mizrahi Pesach dishes, including Yemenite Charoset, Eggplant with Tomato, Black Quinoa & Sweet Potato Salad, and Tahini cookies.
