Bris Avrohom successfully completed Chanukah festivities as it oversaw 125 menorahs in New Jersey. Bris Avrohom placed five menorahs at the George Washington Bridge, including the upper and lower levels, headquarters, the Palisades entrance, and the bus terminal.

The highlight of Chanukah at Bris Avrohom took place when Sheila Y. Oliver, New Jersey lieutenant governor, hosted a breakfast at her office sponsored by Bris Avrohom. Ms. Oliver invited all the agencies under her jurisdiction and 75 people attended. Guests included Jared Maples, the state’s Homeland Security director; Lamont Repollet, commissioner of the state’s education department; the state treasurer, Elizabeth Maher Muoio, and Col. Patrick J. Callahan, acting superintendent of the state police.
