“Mill Mile” walk
Fair Lawn Jewish Center’s Sisterhood hosts the “Mill Mile” walk around the Paterson Great Falls National Historic Park for a brief “Let There Be Water” conversation as part of Jewish Federation of Northern Jersey’s “One Book One Community” program. Meet at the FLJC, at 10-10 Norma Ave. in Fair Lawn, on Sunday, April 30, at 10:30 a.m. to carpool. The walk is at 11, 72 McBride Ave., Paterson. It follows the route of the nation’s first hydropower system, which powered the Paterson mills for more than 100 years. The tour also offers an overview of the park. Refreshments.
