“Sam the Matzah Ball Man,” aka Sam Yusupov, the general manager of Manischewitz’s Deli on Wheels, parked his van outside of ShopRite of Paramus on Sunday, April 6. He distributed samples of Manischewitz hot dogs and rugelach. Erica Danziger, the JCC of Northern NJ’s program and outreach director, gave out PJ Library pencils to the children.

Manischewitz launched its first-ever “Deli on Wheels” offering classic Jewish cuisine before Passover. The initiative aims to make traditional and modern Jewish flavors more accessible to consumers beyond the holiday season. The Manischewitz truck visited ShopRite locations including Englewood, New Milford, Paramus, and Livingston. For information on Manischewitz, go to Manischewitz.com.

PJ Library offers free Jewish book subscriptions to children in the community thanks to the  support of the JCC of Northern NJ, Jewish Federation of Northern NJ, the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, and private donors.
