More than 20 young leaders and supporters of Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, representing communities from the tristate area and across the United States, joined the FIDF Young Leadership Mission to Israel this month to show their appreciation for the IDF.

The mission brought members of FIDF’s Young Leadership Division together with IDF soldiers. Mission participants received in-depth briefings by military officers, toured strategic IDF bases to get a behind-the-scenes look into the Israeli military, and experienced Israel in an entirely new way.

The mission was led by FIDF national YL director Dan Haskell, FIDF development associate Carly Billig, and FIDF YL mission co-chairs and YL-NY board members Arielle Cole, Matthew Gelles, and Katie Frankel.
