Local cantors to perform in Montebello
The Montebello Jewish Center presents “Bima to Broadway V.” On that evening, 11 local cantors and an accompanist will perform cantorial, Jewish, and Broadway music. It’s set for Saturday, November 16, at 8 p.m. The shul’s adult, children’s, and teen choirs will perform, and a dessert reception will follow.
Participants include Cantors Michelle Rubin, Ellen Arad, Cecelia Beyer, Matt Axelrod, Kenneth Feibush, Marcy Kadin, Sheldon Levin, Sally Neff, Janet Roth, and David Wallach, cantorial student Jacob Sandler, and accompanist Brian Gelfand.
