Local artist exhibiting at Long Island University
“Adagio,” a recent painting by Englewood artist Rachelle Weisberger, will be on display at the Steinberg Museum of Art at Long Island University. It’s part of a group show, “All Together Now: Innovation through Creation,” on display through March 27.
The exhibit is sponsored by the New York Society of Women Artists, a professional organization founded in 1925 and representing 60 painters, sculptors, and graphic artists. Ms. Weisberger, who has been a member since 1984, is an active member of the group’s board.
Her work evokes psychological and spiritual themes and has been exhibited in leading galleries in the tristate area and is represented in private collections. She is also the author of “Biblical Beauty: Ancient Secrets and Modern Solutions.”
She is a member of the East Hill Synagogue and Congregation Ahavath Torah, both in Englewood. A lifelong supporter of Israel, she is affiliated with Amit, Emunah of America, Hadassah, and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. For information, go to www.rachelleweisberger.com.
