Liron Yisraeli Out of Coma and Recovering
She was stabbed in the neck guarding Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem. After an outpouring of support and prayer she has woken up and is recovering.
Nineteen-year-old Liron Yisraeli was serving with her IDF unit at Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem, left under Israeli control despite a withdrawal from Bethlehem under the Oslo Accords, when a Palestinian attacker stabbed her in the neck. Liron fought back and disarmed the female assailant but remained in a coma in the hospital.
She has finally woken up and was visited by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Her Hebrew name is Liron bat (daughter of) Tali. We wish her a speedy recovery.
