The Center for Jewish Identity will hold its annual lecture, this year dedicated to the memory of Allison Cimring Dorfman, on Tuesday, July 14, at 8:15 p.m., at Congregation Keter Torah in Teaneck. The speaker, Rabbi Paysach Krohn, will discuss “Becoming a Source of Blessing,” to help the organization continue Alli’s mission of bringing goodness to others. Matt Root is the event chair.
Allison Cimring Dorfman, along with her husband, Lloyd, and his children, Jesse and Rebecca, of Fair Lawn, participated in the CJID’s programs for many years. She died in a motor vehicle accident last year.
Rabbi Krohn is a fifth-generation mohel and the author of many inspirational books.
