Learning about the Czech Republic

Rabbi Ron Hoffberg, an American who has lived in Prague since 2001, spoke about the Conservative and Reform communities in the Czech Republic earlier this month at Temple Emeth in Teaneck.

He talked about the damage that the Holocaust and communism brought to the European Jewish community, and the many people who have reclaimed their Jewish identities in the last two decades. Rabbi Hoffberg also talked about his own journey, which led him to that unique community.
