The personal injury law firm of Davis, Saperstein & Salomon, P.C. is sponsoring Teaneck Strong Day on December 21. The firm is distributing high-quality masks and t-shirts to people who live or work in Teaneck to demonstrate the community’s strength during the pandemic as winter begins.
Participants are asked to wear the masks and shirts that day and to post their photos and hashtag #TeaneckStrong on their social media pages to show their solidarity with the community.
Garry R. Salomon, the firm’s managing partner, grew up in Teaneck. He said that he was inspired to spearhead this project from his strong connection to the town and his appreciation for everyone who lives, works, and thrives there. “I went to college here, I’ve worshipped here, and I’ve practiced law here for over 25 years,” he said. “We decided that we wanted to give back to the community of first responders, municipal workers, merchants, and clergy. They are the glue that holds Teaneck together. The strength of our municipal employees and citizens is what makes Teaneck Strong.”
Historically, Teaneck has been a strong community with a rich diversity of residents. Many of the township’s organizations are co-sponsoring the day, including the Teaneck Chamber of Commerce, the Teaneck Bar Association, the town’s police and fire departments, the Teaneck International Film Festival, and more. Each organization received a supply of masks and t-shirts to distribute.
