Lauds Wasserman Schultz
I was so proud and thrilled to learn that Debbie Wasserman Schultz was appointed by President Obama as chair of the Democratic National Committee, a powerful job, replacing former Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a woman of accomplishment. She has been in the House of Representatives since 2007. She is on the Appropriations Committee, and her Jewish heritage plays a huge role in her life as shown in her association with Jewish organizations.
As the mother of three young children, she is to be admired for her ability to balance her family life with her career. She works tirelessly for the Democratic Party.

To me, her most admirable quality is her loyalty to friends and even more important, she is well respected by those who do not agree with her.
Congratulations to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a woman who is truly a mensch.
