Larger Than Life gala set for Sunday
Larger Than Life USA holds its New Jersey gala honoring Orna Ben-Or Jackson on Sunday, December 17, at the Rockleigh. The evening begins with a buffet dinner at 6:30, followed by Chanukah candle lighting and a performance by Israeli singer Einat Sarouf.
Orna Ben-Or Jackson, a sales associate realtor with Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty in Tenafly, has supported the children of Larger Than Life for eight years. She helps plan fundraising events and works with families with a child suffering from cancer who come to the New York area for medical care. She helps them find housing and she arranges home-cooked meals. She is being honored for her readiness to help Larger Than Life fulfill those requests, and for her spirit of volunteerism.
Ms. Sarouf offers a concert with Israeli songs, During the second part of her performance, participants join her for an Israeli party with singing, hora dancing, and Middle Eastern music.
