Lahitraot v’todah bishveel hacol hadag gefilte

Writing this blog has been one of my biggest pleasures of the past few years, but all good things must come to an end (as Captain Picard learned in the TNG finale, “All good things…”).

I’ll soon start a new position with the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany and will be departing The Jewish Standard.

Thank you, dear readers, for your calls, your e-mails, and your comments over the years. Thank you for following me on Twitter (which will remain active) and this blog. And most importantly, thank you for sharing your stories with me and allowing me to tell them. Besides being home to some of the biggest movers and shakers of the Jewish world, North Jersey is home to one of the most diverse, strong, and welcoming Jewish communities in the country.

To paraphrase the late, great Douglas Adams, so long and thanks for all the gefilte fish.

Josh Lipowsky, aka The Big Lipowsky
