According to a U.S. government website, Jonathan Pollard, the American Jewish spy who was convicted of passing classified information to an ally, will be released on November 21st of this year.
Pollard was a United States government employee and pled guilty in 1987 to selling classified information to Israel. He was sentenced to life in prison – the only American ever to receive a life sentence for passing classified information to an ally of the United States. Israel granted him citizenship in 1995.

Algemeiner.com claimed to have heard from an inside source that Pollard’s release was upcoming; the website seems to confirm that information. There has been no word yet from the White House or the Israeli government.
