Joint Chanukah party with JFSCNJ and Israeli Holocaust survivors

Holocaust survivors in northern New Jersey and in Israel celebrated the seventh day of Chanukah together online, on the Uniper platform, in a party arranged by the Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey. It was sponsored by the Ross Family Virtual Senior Center at JFSCNJ and the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ’s Global Connections. The party celebrated two miracles — the miracle of Chanukah and the way in which new cutting-edge technology allowed two communities to come together virtually from across the globe.

The participants played Chanukah trivia games, listened to live music by singer songwriter Zvi Rodan, and exchanged holiday wishes in English and Hebrew.
