JHF golf/tennis/card outing May 22

The Jewish Home Foundation holds its 23rd annual Golf, Tennis, and Card Outing on Monday, May 22, at the Montammy Golf Club in Alpine.

This year’s event honors Robert Peckar for his many years of dedication. Howard Chernin and Warren Feldman are the outing co-chairs; Howard Blatt and Marc Blatt are the golf co-chairs, and David Edelberg, Howard Lippman, Susan Penn, and Barry Wien are the tennis co-chairs.

The day will begin with brunch and a program at 9:45 a.m.; golf will begin with a shotgun start at 11:45 a.m.; at 1 p.m., there will be a tennis round-robin tournament. Cards and other games, including mah jongg, and social and A.C.B.L.-sanctioned bridge, also will be available. Cocktails will follow at 5:30, the reception at 6:15, and dinner and the auction at 7. The daylong fundraiser will benefit the programs and services the JHF provides to the elderly in the community.
