JFS virtual support groups coming in January

This winter, Jewish Family Service of MetroWest offers several online support groups — “Happily Ever After — Beyond Separation & Divorce” is a divorce support group starting on Tuesday, January 5, at 7 p.m. For information, email Daphne Berkovits at dberkovits@jfsmetrowest.org or call her at (973) 637-1758. Most major insurances are accepted.

There’s a monthly free support group for older adults; it helps them connect with others to mitigate some of the isolation they are enduring during the pandemic. It’s on the first Monday of the month at 10 a.m. For information, email Andrea Olitzky at aolitzky@jfsmetrowest.org or call her at (973) 765-9050, ext. 1723.

“Playgroup with a Purpose” is a free weekly online group for parents and their babies, from newborns to 16-month-olds, to share and connect. It’s in collaboration with Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel. It meets on Fridays at 9:30 a.m. For information and registration, email Blair Biersbach at bbiersbach@jfsmetrowest.org.

“A Journey Through Grief,” a bereavement group for older adults who have lost a spouse or significant other, meets on January 14, 21, and 28, February 4, 11, 18, and 25, and March 4. To register, email Amanda Kielbania at akielbania@jfsmetrowest.org or call her at (973) 637-1712. Most major insurances are accepted.
