JFNNJ Yom HaShoah commemoration is on May 5

The Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey will hold a Holocaust/Yom HaShoah commemoration program and concert on Sunday, May 5, at 3 p.m., at Congregation B’nai Sholom/Fair Lawn Jewish Center. The program, marking the 81st anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, includes a concert, “A Journey of Music Written During the Holocaust.” It’s through Holocaust Music Lost & Found, which shares music written during the Holocaust in concentration camps and ghettos. The hope is to inspire others and raise awareness of the extraordinary power of music to lift the human spirit and counter antisemitism and hate.

Fair Lawn Mayor Gail Rottenstrich is the speaker. Transportation may be available upon request. For information, call Laura Freeman at (201) -820-3923 or email her at LauraF@jfnnj.org.
