Volunteers assemble snack packs.
The Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey celebrated its 26th annual Mitzvah Day, uniting more than 150 volunteers, elected officials, and community partners. Together, they created nearly 3,000 essential gifts, including snack packs, cold-weather bundles, and no-sew blankets, all aimed at assisting people in need in the community. Some volunteers generously contributed to the federation’s “Tree of Love,” symbolizing support and solidarity for Israel, with all proceeds going to the federation’s Israel Emergency Relief Fund.
Overall, the volunteers felt that it was a great day, serving the community and helping others.
