JFCS Ride to Fight Hunger is June 9

Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey will host its 14th annual Ride to Fight Hunger on Sunday,, June 9. It’s held in and around Spectra Labs in Rockleigh. The goal is to help raise money so JFCS can continue offering essential social and mental health services to the northern New Jersey community.

There will be 3, 10, 25, and 50-mile bike routes, a guided hike, games and entertainment for the kids, food, and drinks. For information, go to RideToFightHunger.com.

The Ride to Fight Hunger was started 14 years ago to help the critical problem of food insecurity. It since has grown to support mental health, older adults, food insecurity services, and basic needs assistance – the four pillars of JFCS’s service to thousands of individuals and families each year. Through its comprehensive, holistic approach, JFCS is a safety net for the Northern New Jersey community.  All four pillars work together to address the unique needs of JFCS’s clients and improve their health and well-being. Available services include mental health therapy, support groups, care management for older adults, specialized services for Holocaust survivors, a kosher food pantry, career counseling, and more. For more information, to donate, or to register, go to RideToFightHunger.com or call (201) 837-9090.
