Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey will celebrate with its annual gala, “Celebration of JFCS,” on Sunday, October 24, at 5:30 p.m., at the Alpine Country Club, 80 Anderson Ave., in Demarest.
The honorees are JFCS board member Helen Graf and immediate board past president Debbie Harris. Both of them have volunteered their time and offered their leadership for many years. Funds raised for the event will go towards ensuring that the safety net of essential mental health and social services that JFCS provides to the northern New Jersey community remains in place, and that JFCS’s clients receive the assistance they need during difficult times, including senior services, food insecurity assistance, mental health services, and such basic needs assistance as career services and emergency financial assistance.
The evening will be held outdoors, in a well-ventilated tent. It includes a strolling dinner and dessert, all glatt kosher and under OU supervision. All current CDC covid guidelines will be followed. JFCS requests that all attendees be fully vaccinated. Cocktail attire is suggested.
