John Kenrick, an entertainment historian, discusses “Jewish Women in American Film: From Femme Fatale to Super Hero” for the Jewish Historical Society of New Jersey on Wednesday, April 21, at 7 p.m. The JHS public forum will focus on Jewish women who have been Hollywood stars from the silent era onward, including Theda Bara, Fanny Brice, Natalie Portman, and Gal Gadot.

Mr. Kenrick uses film clips, rare photos, and behind the scenes stories to show the wide range of gifted Jewish ladies of the silver screen. For the Zoom link, email Linda Forgosh at lforgosh@jfedgmw.org.
