Jewish studies university in Teaneck

The Mini University of Jewish Studies at Temple Emeth has begun its fall session. Ongoing programs include Torah study with Rabbi Steven Sirbu on Saturdays at 9 a.m., in the shul’s library, with coffee, bagels, and spreads. Lunch and Learn, with Rabbi Sirbu, is on Wednesdays at noon, beginning October 18. This session it will focus on “Lessons in Leadership: A Weekly Reading of the Jewish Bible” by Rabbi Jonathan Sacks. Bring lunch; coffee and tea are provided. The “Speak, Laugh, and Enjoy Yiddish” class continues on Mondays at 10:30 a.m.
