Jewish National Fund features Siggy Flicker with ‘Power of Women’
Jewish National Fund hosted “The Power of Women,” its first annual Women for Israel meeting in northern New Jersey, on May 30 at RAIN in Teaneck.
Siggy Flicker of Tenafly, a relationship expert, motivational speaker, television personality, and author, was the guest speaker. Ms. Flicker is the daughter of Holocaust survivor Dr. Mordecai Paldiel of Fort Lee.
“JNF is everywhere, ensuring that Israel is strong and vibrant — from college campuses to the streets of Be’er Sheva that they helped pave; the work of this wonderful organization is second to none and I am so grateful to be here experiencing the energy of Jewish National Fund for myself,” Ms. Flicker said.
“We are so proud of the breadth and depth of our work. With our strong leadership, we hope to continue making a difference and growing our Women for Israel division in northern New Jersey and Rockland County, so that our Jewish homeland will continue to blossom, and lives will continue to flourish,” Jacqueline Yehudiel, the director of JFI’s northern New Jersey chapter, said.
May was JNF’s Women’s Month and all gifts to the Women for Israel campaign were matched, up to $1 million, by donors Shelly Shor Gerson and Lynne Merriam. For more information, call Jacqueline Yehudiel at (973) 593-0095, ext. 823, or email her at jyehudiel@jnf.org.
