The Jewish Home Family presents a special screening of the award-winning film “The Father” for fully vaccinated people only. It’s set for Monday, May 24, at 6 p.m., at the AMC Garden State 16, Westfield Garden State Plaza, in Paramus. The audience will be spread out according to CDC guidelines; only 30 percent of the seats can be used.
The film is about a family dealing with an elderly father displaying early signs of dementia. It will be preceded by an informational health fair at 5:30, covering memory care, home care, post-covid recovery programs, the Jewish Home’s Parkinson’s Center, and various rehabilitation modalities.
“As we come out of the most difficult year in our history, we look forward to this opportunity to reconnect with our community,” Carol Silver Elliott, the Jewish Home Family’s president and CEO, said. “This film touches on a subject that many families wrestle with and something that the Jewish Home can truly help address. We offer this special program to provide information and support and to do so in a way that is responsible and safe.”
