The Jewish Home Family participated in a holiday toy drive benefiting local children through Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey.

The Jewish Home Family, which operates both Jewish Home Assisted Living in River Vale and the Jewish Home at Rockleigh, had a collection of gifts in both locations. It united staff, vendors, and families, who contributed new toys, ensuring that children of all ages would experience the excitement and warmth of the holidays.

“At Jewish Home Family, we are committed to enriching the lives of those in our care, and making a positive impact on our local community, Carol Silver Elliott, the Jewish Home Family’s CEO, said. “This year’s holiday toy drive was a wonderful opportunity to unite our staff, families, and partners in the spirit of generosity. We’re honored to play a part in helping to spread joy to children and families served by Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey.”

In addition to the impact on the children who will receive the gifts, the toy drive fostered a sense of unity and connection among the elders, their families, and the broader Jewish Home Family community.

Jewish Home Family’s participation in this toy drive is just one of many initiatives the organization undertakes throughout the year to give back to the community. With a focus on compassionate care for elders, Jewish Home Family also extends its mission to serve those in need across Northern New Jersey, embodying the values of kindness, generosity, and community service.
