The Jewish Federation & Foundation of Rockland County continues its Midreshet classes (Jewish education for adults) in the adult education center, 450 West Nyack Road. Local rabbis and educators will teach six classes covering Jewish history, Torah, philosophy, and life experience. Rabbi Brian Leiken of Temple Beth Sholom in New City will lead “Ancient Rabbinic Judaism and Early Christianity.” Other classes include “Potpourri of Jewry” and “Who are We and How did We Get Here.”
