Jewish Historical Society has a new website

The Jewish Historical Society of North Jersey has launched its comprehensive new website, www.jhsnnj.org, which provides access to the organization’s programs and calendar and to the digital collection of the organization’s files. The upgraded site allows friends, community groups, educators, and supporters more access to the photos, articles, artifacts, and newsletters of the organization, which details the Jewish history of Passaic, Bergen, and Hudson counties. While the website is a work in progress with much more to do, there already is a great deal of content available.

The all-volunteer JHSNNJ operates on low overhead and relies on community support to carry out its mission. It’s looking for volunteers to help with its archival and digitization process. To help in the Fair Lawn office, email jhsnnj@gmail.com or call (201) 300-6590.
