Chandri Barat, co-founder and director of the Barat Foundation in Newark, who was named one of this year’s NJ Best Women in Business, has created a Jewish heritage tour in Provence for adults. She has been taking students to the south of France for cultural immersion programs for the last 20 years; this summer, in response to many requests, she will take a group of adults to Provence to “bring to life over 1,000 years of Jewish history.”

The trip is set for July 12 to 19. All are welcome. For more information, go to www.discoverprovence.org; 20 percent of program fees are tax deductible, supporting arts education in underserved communities. For information, go to www.discoverprovence.org or call (973) 353-0003.
