The Jewish Educators Assembly, the Conservative movement’s organization for professional educators, held its 66th annual conference in Israel. The gathering brought together congregational school education directors, bureau and agency personnel, and family and informal educators from across North America and Israel.

The conference aimed to give participants a better understanding of what Israelis face in their everyday lives, Israel’s accomplishments and technological achievements, and a look back at history. Some participants continued on to Prague to learn about the Jewish community there, visit the synagogues of the old Jewish quarter, and stop at the Terezin ghetto.
