JCC offers online support for Parkinson’s caregivers

The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly offers a three-session online series, free and open to the community, where local professionals will provide support for caregivers for people with Parkinson’s disease on three consecutive Tuesdays at 1 p.m.

On July 8, Darryn Pulanco leads the session as “The Michael J. Fox Foundation presents: The Latest in Parkinson’s Disease Research.” On July 15, attorney Valerie Zaloom Buccino provides practical legal and caregiving advice. On July 22, physical therapist Oksana Ayala offers “Movement Matters: The Caregiver’s Role in Supporting Exercise for Parkinson’s.”

For information, email Marlene Ceragno at mceragno@jccotp.org, call her at (201) 569-7900, ext. 439, or go to www.jccotp.org, click on seniors, and then on Parkinson’s Program.
