Jack Shapiro
Jack M. Shapiro, 94, of Teaneck, died March 2.
An accomplished musician and educator, he taught at City College of New York for 32 years, serving as department chair and playing in the faculty string quartet. He was scheduling director at the Marlboro Music Festival and gave music lectures for more than 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elynore; children, David and Joan; sisters Leah Coblitz, Harriet Goodman, and Beverly Perlman; and a granddaughter.
