Is it Chanukah yet?

As I write this we at The Jewish Standard are working hard to complete our annual Chanukah Gift Guide.

And I thought I would take this opportunity to announce to all of you what I would like for Chanukah – and this isn’t even in the gift guide.

Slippers with headlights.

For too long I have stumbled through the dark and banged my knee or stubbed my toe (or worse). Why should I grope my wall for a light switch when I could just turn on the headlights on my slippers? They would keep my feet warm and cozy, also. It’s a win-win situation for only $39.95.

I take a size 14 shoe, so I’d need the large size for the slipper.
