Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck announced a historic $75 million donation from the Douglas M. Noble Family Foundation — the largest gift ever made to a Catholic hospital in the United States and the second-largest hospital donation in New Jersey. This milestone investment will allow Holy Name to address some of the most pressing healthcare challenges of the next generation and help fund major initiatives. The money will support growth and capital projects, expansion of the NICU, the launch of Holy Name’s graduate medical education program to address New Jersey’s physician shortage, and the opening of a new neuroendovascular institute.

The gift honors the legacy of Dr. Douglas M. Noble, a dedicated neuroradiologist, and marks a historic moment during Holy Name’s centennial year. The commitment from the Douglas M. Noble Family Foundation — made during Holy Name’s 100th year — represents a long-term investment in the medical center.
