Holocaust museum is renovating
The Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education Museum in Suffern is under renovation. On June 1, more demolition and the construction of the new museum and educational exhibits began. The new museum is designed to be a formidable educational institution for students of all ages, at all levels of Holocaust and human rights education.
Fall programs include “How Trauma and Resilience Cross Generations,” set for Tuesday, September 20, at 7 p.m., at the West Clarkstown Jewish Center in New City. A community-wide Kristallnacht commemoration will be held on Wednesday, November 9, at 7 p.m., at Temple Beth Sholom in New City.
